The following notice concerns exclusively personal data collected as part of such an event registration (in particular your name, contact details and registration-related information). For all other data processing on this website, our privacy policy applies unchanged; it also contains the details of the controller, your rights as a data subject and your right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
Where we act as a promotions partner for an event — specifically for events serving the marketing of the Rotax E10 — the data collected as part of the registration is transferred to our cooperation partners in the United Kingdom (UK) for the purpose of organising, coordinating and running the respective event. This data transfer is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures and of the contract governing event participation). For the United Kingdom, an adequacy decision of the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR is in place. It guarantees a level of data protection equivalent to EU standards, which is why additional contractual safeguards for the transfer are generally not required.
Data collected as part of an event registration is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for running and following up the respective event, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
